The Sims Double Deluxe Rated: Teen

How do you improve the most popular simulation game in the world? Throw a party and get out the crystal ball. In The Sims Double Deluxe, you control every aspect of Sim life; from their hygiene, to the person they will marry. Remember to throw that House Party after you propose, and don't forget to call the clown catchers when a certain crank comes through your doors.

When Time Magazine says that The Sims Double Deluxe is "the game of Life for the millennium" they aren't joking. Double Deluxe is a game for a lifetime. The Sims has been remade into infinite cool and possibility. With so much to do, who needs disvirtual reality? Its not a party until Double Deluxe is invited, but watch out, the party lasts all night long.

What's not to enjoy about putting yourself into the game through the Sims Creator. Take your fresh high school picture, scan it, and throw yourself into the game. Through the Sims Creator, you can design the look of every character in your Sim world. Do you want Bill Clinton to work out more? With the Sims Creator you can make it happen. Don't like the dress your Sim is wearing? Design something that matches your wallpaper.

What's better than developing the personalities, skills and appearances of your Sims? Should your Sim be a neat freak, a party animal, an overactive busy-bee, or a pleasant friend? You are in control of every aspect of your Sims in Double Deluxe.

Did you ever want that two-story house in the country (maybe I'm thinking of a different generation). Did you ever want that phat pad with purple carpets and moon windows?

Did you always crave a dance floor next to your frig? With over 450 items, your furnishing possibilities are as endless as your creativity. And that's the fun of it. While waiting for your Sims to come home from work, you can fix up your bathroom, hire a maid, and do some gardening.

When you have your characters and neighborhood designed, run to the phone. Hire that caterer, put on your formal tux and crank up the music. Your friends will ring the doorbell in seconds, and if your party is happening, plan on a visit from the police. With The Sims House Part and the Sims Creator, your party is sure to be bumpin. Don't feel like messing up your house, take the party underground. Rock the house with your own designed rave. And don't forget to get behind the turntables and pump up the jam (salt and pepper style).

The graphics and game play of the Sims are top notch. Double Deluxe is detail focused, and it shows in the graphics and game play. Do you want to propose to Mary Sim? Just click on her propose button. But don't expect to elope so easily. Don't forget to feed your date, entertain her, and give her a gift.

Even if you could exhaust all the possibilities of Double Deluxe, just wait till you go online.

Join online communities, chat with gamers, and download new objects for your Sim world. It gets better, join online and listen to you favorite Sims sing their favorite tunes. With lyrics like, "Gypoe wode jee lofa nars/ lamen voo nah/ (repeat verse) you won't miss out.

The only quandary with The Sims Double Deluxe is that possibilities are beyond endless. Double Deluxe offers so much to explore, you can forget about your day job. Double Deluxe raises the standard of enjoyment and entertainment that The Sims set only a year ago. Get ready to party, Double Deluxe is worth every penny!
