Sports games dominated October video game sales with 2K Games' "NBA 2K13" outdelivering last year's model by 60% and EA's "Madden" and "FIFA" selling thousands of units yet again. "Borderlands 2" continues to hang strong on the top ten while "Resident Evil 6" also appealed to gamers not looking for a sports fix. The failure of "XCOM: Enemy Unknown" to appear on the list is disappointing to the critics who love it but the title appears to simply not be catching on with fans.
