From Taco Bell offering "Sims" and "Madden 11" in-game merchandise to 7-11 giving you "LittleBigPlanet 2," "Killzone 3," or "God of War III" virtual trinkets for drinking Slupees, the virtual goods as a reward for real world activities model seems like the future of cross-promotion, and a new form of consumer motivation.
