Guide Review - Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball
Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball is certainly one of the most... original titles to land on the Xbox so far. In a nutshell, all of the deadly damsels from Dead or Alive 3 are tricked into spending two weeks on an island, playing volleyball and feeding each other strawberries. Seriously.
DOAX is a fun game, first and foremost. The volleyball, while simple, is surprisingly addictive; the gambling is fun, and the game is full of some of the best eye candy ever put out on a console. Throw in the shopping element and you have a very pretty, yet quirky game.
Some will be offended by the game, but I honestly think that it is so over-the-top that perhaps it shouldn't be taken too seriously. After all, it is just beach volleyball.
