Ubisoft's "Far Cry 2" was a mostly frustrating action game and so there was little reason to believe that the last major release of 2012 would really register, especially with gamers deep into the worlds of "Black Ops II," "Assassin's Creed III," and "Hitman: Absolution." Leave those worlds for a few days and skydive into the amazing "Far Cry 3," one of the best games of 2012.
