Obama and Palin to Appear as Playable Characters in a Videogame

Ask and ye shall receive.

Last week I posted on how Obama was running ads in videogames. I also joked about wanting to be able to play the presidential candidates as unlockable characters. Well, someone at EA is reading my blog, as my wish has come (at least half) true. Senator Obama and Governor Palin are going to be downloadable and playable characters in Mercenaries 2.

You read that right, Barack Obama and Sarah Palin are going to be DLC for Merc 2. Obama calling in a nuclear air-strike? Palin with a rocket launcher? The time has come to live out your violent political fantasies as you control the candidates in the Grand Theft Auto-style mercenary game.

Man, I hope Game Politics isn't jerking our collective political chains here.
