This Week's PS2 and PS3 Release Dates: June 4th-8th, 2007

Umm, one game this week, and a PS2 one at that. I wonder if this could be one of the reasons for the low PS3 sales recently?
Dave Karraker, Sony Computer Entertainment America's Sr. Director of Corporate Communications seems to think so. He has stated that the poor PS3 console sales were due “to a lack of new software in the market."
Neowin.net quoted Ubisoft's CEO Yves Guillemot saying that it was a price issue, and that Sony would not capture the same sized market it did with the PS2. "For sure Sony will have a different market share ... lower than before. They have to decrease the price quite significantly," Guillemot said.
I say it's still too early. You have to give it a year before you can tell the success of a system. At the same time, I wouldn't mind seeing a few new PS3 games.

Where are the killer apps for PS3??? Where is this generation’s version of Final Fantasy 7 and Metal Gear Solid 2 that prompts me to run to the store and plunk down my hard earned cash for a new system? Until that day arrives it seems pointless in being a PS3 owner. Could Lair be the one?
Is All-Pro Football 2K8 going to be on the PS2? I hope so because I am anxious to play and get that game.
