RedOctane has come out saying that they will be selling a glossy white, wireless version of their Gibson SG Guitar Hero Controller. The wireless guitar should ship at the same time as Guitar Hero II (early November) and is expected to retail for $59.99. Presently, the wireless guitar controller will be exclusive to the PS2. However, a wireless version of the Xbox 360 controller is still in the works. According to a RedOctane spokesperson:

The previous announcement was for an initial wired controller for the Xbox 360, as we have not yet received final approval from Microsoft to utilize their wireless protocol. When there is further clearance, then we'll proceed from there.

I'm sure Guitar Hero fans aren't loosing too much sleep over it, as the original game was a PS2 only title anyway. [Source: GameDaily]
