According to Kotaku.com, Johnny Depp is lending his voice to the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow videogame from Bethesda.

I saw the game at E3, and I must say, the booth was great! They had costumes and props from the film. They even had Jack Sparrow's cannibal throne on display, very cool. But the game? Meh, videogame movie fare, nothing to write home about. I'll end up buying it, because I'm a bit of a pirate fanatic, but wait until I get a review up before you run out and blow your hard earned doubloons on it.

What I find extremely clever was a comment made by a reader on the site who expressed his dismay over the fact that Depp did not perform the voice work of Captain Jack Sparrow in the excellent Kingdom Hearts II, but did in this movie adaptation. Cracks me up!
