Sony buys Killzone developer

"If it's good for the goose...." In a move strikingly similar to that of Microsoft's purchase of Halo developer Bungie, Sony Computer Entertainment has acquired Guerrilla Games, the developer of Killzone. According to the Amsterdam press release, the studio is currently working on a new Killzone title for PlayStation 3, early scenes of which were shown to wide acclaim when revealed at E3 earlier this year. The studio is also developing a further game within the Killzone universe for PlayStation Portable (PSP).
