Battlefield 2 storms the PS2 this fall

The Battlefield 2 is making an appearance on the PS2 and Xbox this fall. In addition to 24 player maps and battles, really the heart of the game, a single player story mode is also being included. Early screenshots and videos look superb, and can be seen at the new Battlefield 2 console site. No word on an exact release date yet, but if I were a betting man, and I am, I'd wager that it'll be very much before the Xbox 360's November release date.
