Coming soon to a country near you: Videogame sales restrictions for minors

Kids can't get a break. Now, like much of the world, the Japanese Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association is moving to create self imposed restrictions regarding the sale of mature videogames to minors. Arguably, this will help keep the Japanese government out of the censorship biz. According to GameSpot, Kanagawa prefecture has banned the sale of Grand Theft Auto III to minors as a "harmful publication." Here's hoping they don't get scalded by "Hot Coffee"
